No wash basin, fan, AC or heater. There was mildew in the room, the paint was peeling, and the bedsheets were damp. If you don't want to get sick, don't stay here.

Green Hill Rest Camp is a peaceful break among the greenery, despite dusty surroundings and construction along the Nalinchok Araniko Highway. The well-kept grounds and comfortable places to stay, from cozy cottages to spacious tents, blend nicely with the natural setting. The camp also uses rainwater harvesting and solar energy, and serves tasty organic meals made with local ingredients. Staff were attentive and arranged activities like hiking and birdwatching, as well as cultural trips to nearby attractions. Construction and dust can be temporary inconveniences, but this remains a quiet nature getaway in Nepal's scenic countryside.
