Lakers Bed and Breakfast

Even though my Booking.com reservation was confirmed, they wouldn’t let me check in when I arrived. They handled the situation badly, with extremely unhelpful and unprofessional customer service. Nobody gave me a proper explanation or offered a solution, which caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the place.

There was no hot water, and the staff weren’t cooperative. They also behaved poorly toward guests. One of the worst hotels in Pokhara.

I spent three nights at Lakers, where the room was clean and comfortable. Dipen was a great host and helped me find the cheapest travel and adventure packages around. The in-house tiki bar had refreshing cool drinks and great tacos. It’s affordable, well located, and the service was great. I’d recommend it to tourists visiting Pokhara.

The bartender, (Avi Gurung), was the highlight for me: friendly, skilled, and happy to suggest something. They made my drink with care, whether it was a classic cocktail or something more inventive. The music had enough energy to keep the place lively without drowning out conversation. This pub near Lakeside has a nice balance of relaxed atmosphere and a lively crowd, so it works for a night out with friends or a solo drink. Its location also makes it easy to enjoy the views before or after stopping by. A hidden gem in Lakeside, Pokhara, with great drinks and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
