The rooftop is a great spot for seeing Bhaktapur palace and the surrounding area, and the location is quite nice. I liked the tasteful decor, which mixes modern and Newari traditional touches. The Newari khaja set was good and hygienic, though the potato was raw. They replaced it, then forgot the salt again, which was kind of funny. Hospitality was very good.

The location was fantastic and the bedrooms were nice, but we were freezing during our one night here on our trip through Nepal. There was no heating, and dinner was served in a dining room without real windows. I wouldn't suggest staying here in winter.

We ate lunch at the rooftop restaurant while I was with a small tour group. The view over Durbar Square and the wider Bhaktapur area was really nice, with lots of kites flying from different rooftops while we ate. The food was quite good too, especially the local yogurt dessert.
