I most enjoyed chatting over hot tea and learning about each other’s cultures. Kumari and her family were so kind, and their home was huge and comfortable, with hot showers. I also got to attend a family birthday party, wear a sari, try local food at a newari restaurant, and visit the market for fresh produce grown in their garden. This meaningful project supports women in the community and families, and you can buy hand-knitted items from their network. Thank you, kumari, for your warm hospitality and for making my trip to nepal so special!

We were a little unsure about staying with a local family, but Sarina Sainju and her husband were superb hosts. We stayed last night and had a great time.

We had a lovely time together, sharing experiences and cultures, and I’d definitely like to come back someday. Sarina and his husband are both great cooks. Their place is cozy and clean, with a really nice terrace and kitchen, and it was a pleasure getting to know his family.

Ashok speaks excellent English and is very well placed to help you get the most from the local area. Before he owned this B&B, he was the head tour guide for G Adventures, one of the world’s largest and most reputable tour companies. The rooms are well appointed, with a nice touch of Nepalese charm.
