Helpful, very friendly staff made our stay easier. They gave us a room when we arrived early, before ours was ready, and let us check out late. The suite was spacious, and Durbar Square is a two-minute walk away. We also enjoyed the good local breakfast, though it was more than we could eat, and it would've been nice to choose what we wanted. There was good hot water with strong pressure, and staff answered all our questions. The location is great for getting to the attractions. There were a couple of drawbacks: building work meant we couldn't use our balcony, there was street noise in the lobby at breakfast, and the bedroom window had no screen, so the room felt stuffy. The air conditioner wasn't working, but they did provide fans. Thagu Chhen, a Boutique Hotel offers free WiFi throughout, and some rooms have a sitting area and a terrace or balcony. Each room has a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, slippers, toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. There's also a shared kitchen and gift shop. Bikes and cars are available to rent, and the area is popular for cycling. Kathmandu is 9.7 km away, and Tribhuvan Airport is 6.9 km from the property.

I recently stayed here and fell in love with the welcome drink. The service and food were excellent, and I especially recommend the restaurant. I'll definitely visit again. Highly recommended, 1000 out of 10!

The apartment was really nice and very close to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Staff were friendly, and the balcony had a beautiful view on a clear day.

The room was spacious, and the building and decor were nice. The hot water had really strong pressure, and the service was friendly. The bedding and towels weren’t good, though, and there was no fan in the toilet.

The rooms are huge and the bed was comfortable. It’s a nice spot right in the middle of Bakhtapur, but I’d go somewhere else for breakfast since Nescafé isn’t my thing.
