For 3,000 per person, the package is good value, though the stay was a mixed bag. The spacious room and balcony were the best part, with an awesome view of the city lights at night. Dining was disappointing. Breakfast had very few options for vegetarians, without basics like salads or pastries, while dinner was okay. I’d suggest it to people who care more about the room and view than having a varied menu.

I spent six wonderful days there in Ratnagiri, Kalamasi, Bhaktapur. The place was hygienic and peaceful, with wonderful hospitality. The resort views were spectacular, especially at night. I hope they’ll renovate and upgrade one of the seminar halls, which really needs the work.

For 6500, I expected at least a phone in the room. The rooms had fungus and the TV didn’t work, while the food was way below average. The hospitality was so poor that I was shocked. They had a few drinks listed on the menu, but none were available. They also said going out to buy anything wasn’t an option because the gate was already locked. Not worth the price at all, and I won’t be back.

We had contacted the hotel about a stay for our group of around 11, and the manager said a booking would be possible. We clearly said we were ready to pay an advance to secure it, and he assured us he’d get in touch to arrange the reservation. We relied on that and thought it was settled. Then, shortly before our visit, we were told the rooms had been given to somebody else. The poor communication and failure to honor what had been confirmed felt highly unprofessional. We had to cancel the whole plan at the last minute, which was disappointing and inconvenient. Based on this experience and similar reviews about how guests are treated, I’d advise others to be cautious and avoid this hotel.

The place is neat and well managed. Some of the electrical equipment needs work, but the staff are more than willing to help fix it if you ask.
