Siraichuli Hotel

We spent two nights at Siraichuli Hotel Bharatpur, Chitwan, and had a good experience. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place, and the staff are helpful, professional, polite, and friendly. The amenities were excellent, the cozy rooms had easy-to-use equipment, and the internet and TV were very fast. The bathroom was above par too. The food was delicious, finger-licking good.

The weak WiFi, especially in the room, was unreliable. The lighting in the room and corridors was dim, and the rooms felt very basic, with no refrigerator, chargeable ironing service, a tiny bathroom, and a damaged flush. The food was below average for what I expected from a 4-star hotel. At dinner, we waited nearly two hours with no warning about the delay and no apology. I was also charged Rs. 60 for a small bottle of water. I know hotel prices can differ from outside rates, but this felt excessive for a basic necessity and didn’t match premium service. I’d booked two rooms on MAP plan for my birthday, hoping for a comfortable, memorable stay. There was no warm welcome and no acknowledgment of my birthday, even though I’d told the hotel in advance. I travel often and have never given a hotel such a low review. This place didn’t meet what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel, or even a 2- or 3-star one. Billing was another serious concern. I later realized I’d paid Rs. 600 too much, but nobody noticed or contacted me for two days. I had to call them myself about the overpayment. After I completed payment at checkout, no one helped with my luggage either. The facilities, service, and professionalism didn’t justify the price or rating. A careless, underwhelming experience, especially for a special occasion. Not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting genuine 4-star hospitality.

Mr. Binaya Budhathoki gave us warm hospitality, and we appreciated the service. The room was great, and the central location made things convenient during our pleasant one-night stay. The corridor and staircase lights were quite dim and could use improvement.

The food was just so-so, and the Wi-Fi was very poor. It didn’t work in the room at all during my three-night stay, even after I complained several times. The AC was centrally controlled, and when I felt hot and wanted the room cooled, they said it couldn’t be adjusted because other guests wanted heat. What’s that?
