The pool and gym are useful extras, and the location near Mahendra Chowk is hard to beat. The indoor pool was clean and enjoyable; a pass was about Rs. 700 per person, with lockers, showers, restrooms and towels available on request. During one visit, though, the shower kept changing from hot to cold, and on another the locker and shower facilities seemed neglected, with standing water by the lockers. My room was generally clean and comfortable, with a classic look, but I noticed mosquitoes and small problems with the bathroom fittings and AC controls. The staff were friendly and polite. Service could be slow: dinner's starter arrived quickly, but the main took over an hour. The food was average. The naan was good, the kadhai paneer portion felt small for its price, and the coffee didn't taste like proper coffee. Room service was slow too, and checkout billing could have been handled more carefully. It's a decent, good-value option for a short stay, with a great location and facilities. In practice, it felt around three stars to me. Better upkeep, quicker service and improved food would make it one of Biratnagar's top hotels.

😡I went to Ratna Hotel Restaurant just for pizza, but it took nearly 30 minutes to come out and had a small hair in it. The manager apologized when I told them and arranged a replacement. That one was small, carelessly made, and the dough wasn't cooked properly. The hygiene and attention to food quality were poor. I wouldn't recommend the pizza.🤢

The rooftop restaurant has a pleasant feel and decent food, and I liked having an indoor pool and fitness area, which aren't common in Biratnagar hotels. There's also space for meetings and events. The location near Mahendra Chowk is convenient, just off the main road. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and did their best to help. A few things could be tighter: room service was slow, some bathroom fittings and AC controls needed attention, and there was confusion with the bill at checkout. Even with those small problems, Ratna Hotel felt like good value and well managed, with nice facilities. I'd recommend it for personal or business stays. Faster service and small maintenance fixes could make it one of Biratnagar's top hotels.
