The staff made the stay for my five nights at Dhulikhel Village Resort especially good. They were warm, attentive, and ready to help, so I felt well looked after. The room was clean and comfortable, though the furniture and lighting looked a little dated without affecting my comfort. Food was consistently good, with a nice range to choose from after a day out. At the restaurant, ask for sealed drinking water. They sometimes serve unsealed bottles, which I assume contain boiled water, but I didn't try them. The rooms always had sealed bottles, so that's what I'd request at the restaurant too. I'd happily return for a relaxing getaway with good food and hospitality.

We've stayed here a couple of times, most recently two days ago. It works for group events and retreats when you want somewhere quieter, though the resort has seen better days and expectations should be managed. In our room, the kettle handle was broken, which felt dangerous when hot, the shower was faulty, and the lights didn't work. They brought in an external light setup with no on/off switch. The worst problem was unsealed water bottles. Several people on our team got diarrhea, and once we asked for sealed bottles, the problem stopped. Only drink sealed water here. There are good points too: Wi-Fi is strong across the resort, staff are friendly and helpful despite seeming understaffed, and trees give the rooms nice natural privacy. Loud music and alcohol can be part of the scene when parties are happening. Check the basics, like your water and room setup, and the place can still work for an event or short retreat.

The rooms, ambience, and scenery were beautiful, and it used to be one of Dhulikhel's most beautiful resorts. I didn't try the food. I just wish the service had been more welcoming. The front desk felt reserved, and the staff could have made me feel more invited.

Ben Dai and the whole team deserve credit for their warm hospitality and service. If you're visiting Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel Village Resort is a great place to eat and stay. Come as a visitor and you'll feel like family.

We liked the food, and the staff were kind and accommodating. The rooms were basic but nice, and we were pleasantly surprised by the hot water and decent shower pressure. The resort had beautiful views, with the mountains visible at certain times of day. We enjoy nature, so the location suited us, and we walked up to the watch tower.
