Himalaya Drishya Resort

The breakfast buffet and dinner options were very tasty, and I loved the view so much that breakfast felt like being in Avatar. The location deserves a 10 star rating. The rooms are actually great, probably 5 star worthy. Door locks could be updated, though the old-school key and deadbolt add a bit of charm. There are easy walks and hikes to local parks and small neighborhood shrines right outside, with those views again.

I came for an office program yesterday, February 7, 2026. The link road was a bit confusing, and Google Maps sometimes gives a misleading shortest route, so ask local people for directions. I couldn’t see the Himalayas during my visit, but the views can be great if the weather allows. Bring warm clothes if you’re not used to the place. The food, from breakfast through dinner, was good for Nepali tastes. I also saw lots of people coming specifically for weekend celebrations.

The atmosphere is nice, the staff are very good, and the food is top notch. It’s a lovely resort, and the views from here are known to be the best.

The balcony had an extraordinary view, and we ordered khaaja there during the day. Our deluxe room was cozy, and dinner was good. The resort has a welcoming feel, from the modern, imposing building to the cooperative staff who showed us the rooms and seemed focused on customer service. My daughter played for a while in the small kids’ area in the cool breeze, and we also played on the swing. It gave us a Dashain Culture vibe and made the place feel lively. The Wi-Fi didn’t seem to work well, but that was a minor issue. I’d recommend it for time with family and friends.
