The greenery around the place gives it a calm, refreshing feel, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. My room was clean, cozy, and well kept, with what I needed for a comfortable visit. It’s a peaceful stay for the price.

Lunch at Avocado and Orchid Resort was a highlight. We ordered the Nepali thali, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, like home-style cooking. The setting was relaxed and the welcome was warm. I left very satisfied.
The only part of the stay I appreciated was checkout time. Our family cottage was in such poor shape that it was hard to believe it belonged to a hotel. The room was supposedly cleaned daily, yet it had mosquitoes, and both the bedsheets and blanket were stained. It looked dirtier than a garbage truck. The staff were also deeply unhelpful, especially Mr. Neupane from the front office, the man with glasses. He seemed completely incompetent, and would win a 'Worst Employee of All Time' award. I even feel I should apologize to the staff for making them break their 'no work policy' for us, but the stay was still terrible. Calling it the worst would not be an exaggeration.
We spent one night in a family room and found it quite good. The hotel is easy to get to, the rooms were nice, and there’s plenty of parking. A pleasant place to stay.
I’ve liked this place for a long time, whether I’m staying overnight or stopping for lunch while passing through Hetauda. The rooms are comfortable, the food is good, and the surroundings are pleasant.
