We only stayed because there was no other option at the time, and the rooms smelled awful as soon as we walked in. The sheets were shabby and worn, and didn't seem clean. There was no hot water, and the restaurant food was poor, with horrible service. Basic security and convenience were missing too, since the room didn't have proper keys or locks. When we raised genuine complaints, staff misled us and seemed to make a mockery of them instead of taking responsibility. One of the worst hotel stays I've had. I'd tell others to avoid it unless there's truly no alternative.

There was no lift, so getting to the upper floors by stairs was difficult. We got no clean towels, the service was poor, staff seemed not to care, and there was no hot water. At check-in they took us to a different hotel on the same road with another name, saying it was the same branch. Other than the room they gave us, there wasn't anything to appreciate. Go only if you're prepared to put up with those problems.

The mountain scenery from our room was stunning and made the stay feel peaceful and refreshing. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy the views, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

The food was so tasty, and the room was really nice. The staff and the whole hotel team were friendly, and they made me feel at home. I even found a new friend here. If you're visiting mustang muktinath and upper mustang, I strongly recommend staying here.
