We were four people in two rooms, with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel was clean and seemed suited to groups and pilgrims. We picked it mainly because Pashupatinath Temple is within walking distance, which worked well for our early morning darshan. The rooms were decent and clean, but the AC in ours didn't cool properly. We were out much of the day, so managed, though it got a little uncomfortable at night. Staff came to check several times after we reported it, but each fix only lasted about an hour. At checkout, we raised it again and suggested regular AC servicing. The restaurant is run separately from the hotel. In Nepal, we found that breakfast choices at most places were limited, such as paratha or aloo sabji with puri. We waited at least half an hour for food at both breakfast and dinner, which was inconvenient. It would help if the hotel explained the breakfast setup at check-in and perhaps used coupons or vouchers to coordinate with the restaurant more smoothly. It's a good budget option for visiting Pashupatinath Temple, though AC upkeep, faster restaurant service, and clearer meal coordination could improve the stay.

We paid NPR 2500 per night at Hotel Travel Inn, Kathmandu, and the service was very poor. My family and I were extremely disappointed. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and seemed drunk while speaking with guests. They showed no manners or respect toward foreign tourists, which is shocking for a hotel claiming to serve international travelers. When the power went out, there was no backup. We asked for help, but staff ignored us and responded carelessly. There was no basic customer service, hospitality, or accountability. This was a terrible experience, and I strongly urge people not to stay here. If tourists are treated this way, how can Nepal expect its tourism sector to grow? The hotel is a disgrace to the country's tourism industry. Nepal's tourism authorities should investigate it, and it may need to be shut down for mistreating guests. Don't waste your money or risk ruining your trip by booking here.

For the location, it's budget-friendly and the place was decent in some ways. But the Wi-Fi didn't work, which was a major problem for me. The linen and pillowcases were stained and dirty, and the water looked yellowish, almost like sewage. It wasn't a comfortable stay.
