Daali Hotel & Apartment

The food quality is outstanding, and the convenient location, peaceful setting, and hospitable staff all made me very happy with the service. Daali Hotel & Apartment is modern and excellent for staying in Kathmandu. Rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities, so they feel like a home apartment. It seems especially well suited to long-term stays. The cleanliness and staff hospitality were truly commendable, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

AleemMaharjan made sure I could get to the airport safely when public transport wasn’t running because of the election. He arranged a ride, then walked along the road with my luggage while we waited for the bus. That kind of care felt incredibly warm and human. The housekeeping and restaurant teams were also much friendlier than I expected after years of traveling internationally. I really appreciate everyone’s kindness and hope the whole team is doing well.

They even looked after my bag for three weeks and had it ready when I came back, which was so kind. I returned after my first stay, and would happily do so again. The hotel is in a great spot in Thamel, with lovely staff, comfortable rooms, and a really good breakfast. I also appreciated having weighing scales to check my bags, and the food was delicious.

The team made us feel welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived. They were always smiling and glad to help, which made a big difference. We loved the room design too, with its modern style and calming dune-like colours. There was plenty of space to unpack and relax, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable after trekking, so we could rest properly without waking up sore. The amenities were excellent. One of the best places we stayed during our trip around Asia, and we’d gladly come back.
