Gokarna Forest Resort Kathmandu

The spa was a lovely part of our visit. We had an evening treatment and seemed to be the only guests there then, so it felt especially private and peaceful. Ms. Pasang Donal Sherpa handled the arrangements flawlessly and made everything run smoothly. Gokarna Forest Resort feels like a real escape into nature, tucked into lush jungle and far from city noise, although it's only a few kilometers from Kathmandu. We caught glimpses of wildlife, including deer and ratuwa, and found the setting deeply peaceful. The food was delicious, with generous, satisfying portions. It's a great place for a quiet break without traveling far from the city, and we highly recommend it.

We've come back many times and plan to keep returning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with tasteful decor, and the whole place is clean and well maintained. The setting among nature is beautiful. We always enjoy the delicious food and lovely drinks, and the service is excellent. Thanks to the hospo team for their support and care.

This was my second time at Gokarna, and it was another outstanding stay. The room was lovely, the service excellent, the food delicious and the spa wonderful. There were lots of unique places to spend time, play, swim and have fun. I'm grateful to the staff for being so kind to my family, especially Shivhari Chaugati, Sashil Bhandari, Sapana Gelal, Shamba Mashable, Sushmita, and all the bellman and guards.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with an amazing spread. The South Indian dishes were better than in south India, and we loved the momos and Nepal thali too, though that serving was huge. The place seemed to draw plenty of locals and tourists. We loved staying here to celebrate our baby's six month birthday. Each morning we woke to deer outside our window, and the location was perfect. The forest walk in the morning was lovely, and we enjoyed the swimming, spa and shop. The staff were the best and went out of their way to accommodate every request. I can't recommend it enough.
