It’s handy having a store on the premises where you can pick up souvenirs for loved ones, and Mr. Sumit is always there to help. The staff are courteous and polite. I especially liked that every room has a Wi-Fi modem, along with the Wi-Fi password and useful numbers such as reception and housekeeping. The intercom announces itself when you start dialing, too. Since we were in another country, having the hotel’s phone numbers and address on the room key card helped us find our way back easily. The property is only 500 meters from Pashupati nath temple. Thanks, team Mahadev, for making my trip memorable.

The rooms are very small, there were no toiletries, and management didn’t seem concerned about guests’ issues. My son’s chest bag, which had cash and headphones inside, went missing from the lobby. We asked management to review the CCTV cameras, but for two days they seemed relaxed about it. After we kept insisting, they checked and showed us just one picture of a lady with a bag, with nothing further. By then it was time for us to move on to the next stop of our trip.

This is a newly built hotel with good facilities, but it’s on the outskirts of town in Siddharthnagar, Nepal. It can be difficult to find transportation.

There was no charging point in the room, room service wasn’t proper, and I didn’t like the food.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from Pashupatinath temple and Gujeshwari Shaktipeeth mandir. Service was excellent, and the hotel has great Indian food. The rooms are good, while the bathrooms are just okay.
