OYO 171 Hotel Fewa Darshan

I haven’t stayed here, but it looks okay from outside. Since it’s an OYO hotel, I’d expect the price to be reasonable for the facilities. It sits right beside the main road, so traffic noise might bother people who dislike that kind of disturbance. It’s just up the slope after Sohrakhutte Chowk, and Thamel Bazaar is close by, which could be a plus.

I stayed one night, and the rooms, bedsheets, and pillow covers were very dirty. They provided no water, soap, or towel. They charged Rs.1250 Indian rupees instead of NPR. I think hotels like this should be delisted.

Sorry, but that was the worst hotel lunch I’ve ever had. The rice, dal, and curry were cold, and the salad was spoiled. A beautiful hotel can still serve awful food.

The rooftop hotel served awesome Indian food, and it was cheap and good. We didn’t stay there, but the rooms looked well built. We made it our food destination for three days.
