The weather was just right, and the calm surroundings made it easy to relax. The rooms were clean, the staff warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Had a really lovely stay here.

The setting is deep in Shivapuri forest, yet only about 30 minutes from my home in the busy city. It feels like Robinson Crusoe’s island, minus the ocean. I came here to leave my ego and status behind, not to show off online, and I enjoyed simply being myself. A jungle spot alone couldn’t have done that; it needed to be a resort so close to town. The place is modern, spacious, clean, rustic, and eco-friendly. The food is good for somewhere in this price range, and service is quick and honest. Don’t expect lots of greetings, smiles, or polished small talk from staff living in the middle of a jungle with wild animals.

A great spot for photographing Yellow Throated Martens( malsapro ) and birdwatching. The jungle and mountain views make it even better.
