The Begnas Lake Resort & Village

We went for lunch as a family. The restaurant and most of the people there were good, and this is one of my favorite places around Pokhara. But the swimming pool attendant was very rude and didn’t know how to treat guests. I think the resort should train its employees on how to behave with visitors.

The people here are what made the resort unforgettable. Everyone, from the kitchen and service teams to reception, housekeeping, gardeners, and the staff working behind the scenes, was warm, kind, and professional. The owners are at the heart of it all. They put so much care into making guests feel welcome, offer helpful tips, and create a positive atmosphere. They also rescue dogs and give them a beautiful second life, which touched me deeply. The resort feels like a hidden paradise in the jungle, with a peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful details everywhere, even little ceramic containers in the bathrooms. Its gardens are incredible, with notes about each tree and its health benefits. They grow many ingredients themselves, including the rice, and you can taste it. The food was amazing.

The food was a delight, every dish really delicious, and the people here do a wonderful job of making you feel special. The owners are the heart of the place: friendly, helpful, and happy to talk about the resort and life in Nepal. They make you love this place just as they do. Tucked away in the jungle by the lake, it has beautiful views, gardens, design, and atmosphere. I wanted to stay much longer.

We went to Begnas Lake Resort with our child and had a wonderful family getaway. The staff were warm and welcoming, and their hospitality stood out. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Set peacefully by the lake, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature in comfort. Highly recommend.
