The big garden out front and the spacious accommodation made Tranquil House a great countryside getaway for my second trip to Nepal. I’d wanted a place outside the city, and really loved the property and its people. I stayed in the balcony room called Laligurans. Wi-Fi was pretty impressive compared with the internet in the city. The people at the house were friendly and caring, showed me how to get around, and welcomed me into their kitchen to make Nepalese food. It was a little messy, but I learned a little. Breakfast, included in the room price, was a delicious typical dish. Evenings brought guitar, Jimbe, or sometimes card games. Thanks to Milan for making me feel cozy and comfortable. Definitely recommended!

You have to see this quality place for yourself to believe it. It’s in the most peaceful suburban area inside Kathmandu valley.
