You're right across the street from the main activity in Thamel, with a shrine just outside. If you like hearing the city get going around 5:30 in the morning, that may suit you. The room and breakfast are both pretty bare bones, just egg, toast, and coffee or tea. Prices are reasonable, but there's very little in the way of amenities, and cleanliness could've been better. My toilet was missing its supply hose; they fixed it, but the hose was too short, so it took another visit to sort out. Wi-Fi was mediocre, though I hear that's common around here. The staff were friendly and responded to my concerns.

The guys here are always friendly and ready to help. Arun's a charming fellow, Raju's always smiling, and Puskhar knows a lot about nepal. The rooms are cozy and just the right size to hold in the warmth. Hot water comes straight from the tap, no hassle. It's set away from noisy Thamel, with decent places nearby for food, snacks, and odds and ends. The hotel serves decent food too.

The price was affordable, and the view from the top of the hotel was great. The room facilities were only average, a few electrical sockets didn't work, the bathroom wasn't very clean, and staff weren't responsive.

The manager and staff were very helpful, just ask if you need something. The hotel is close to Thamel street, and he arranged our Annapurna Circle trip. Our shower was cold, but boiled water was available for free if we needed it.
