Breakfast is cooked for you on the top floor, where you can enjoy fresh fruit and an English breakfast while watching the sun rise over Patan's rooftops. The hotel is in a charming historic building, with traditional architecture and Nepali windows art. Its oldest collection is over 600 years old. The rooms have modern bathrooms and excellent hot showers. The location is handy for nearby sights such as the Golden Temple and Dhubar Square.

The owner was very kind and even drove over to collect me from the Main Street, since the entrance is down a side street. I’d happily stay here again. The building has traditional architecture and a historic feel, while the rooms have modern bathrooms and good hot showers. Breakfast is made to order on the top floor. I had fluffy pancakes and fresh fruit as the sun came up over Patan's rooftops. The Golden Temple and Patan Square are just a short walk away. I also recommend arranging the hotel airport pickup. It costs less than taking a taxi from the airport, as I learned the hard way.

For a local experience in a local neighborhood, Green Tara is a lovely place to stay. Praveen became a friend as well as our host. He showed us around the neighborhood and local temple, took us to a festival happening at the time, and even treated us to breakfast at a local café.

Right in the middle of the action, yet remarkably peaceful. The rooms are clean, and you’re only a stone's throw from everything.

A quaint place and good value for the money 🙂. I recently put about 16 of my guests up here, and they all enjoyed their stay. The breakfast was good, too. Definitely recommend it.
