The hosts were so friendly and knew their way around Katmandu and Nepal, with genuinely useful travel advice. I stayed at PatanSquared both when I first arrived in Katmandu and again before leaving. The breakfasts were delicious, and I got to meet some fantastic people on those stays. My room was roomy, private, and comfortable. The shared bathroom, used with just one other room, was always kept very clean. On Thursdays they run a free walking tour of old Patan, which is well worth joining if you want to learn about its history. It was nice being in Patan, away from the bustle of Thamel. I'd highly recommend staying here.

It's been three years since my last visit, and the guesthouse is still well kept and well run. There are just six rooms, which makes it a good value boutique place to stay. The top floor room is spacious, with a desk and a good bathroom, and you're close to plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Patan is only a short walk away.

The new apartment had a pleasantly modern feel, and the breakfast that came with it was tasty. It was really hard to find the place, especially on foot at night. Pemba and Jason were friendly and helpful hosts throughout our stay.

Jason, who runs the house in patan, was open and friendly, and made the stay memorable. The breakfast was really well prepared, and the service was excellent. The rooms and house were clean and cozy, with a big kitchen for everyone, a pleasant garden, and a terrace where you can relax.

It felt like a home away from home, with lovely staff, especially Happy and the rest of the team. The garden looked beautiful, even in the rain.
