Breakfast was tasty, filling, and full of flavor, and the staff were warm, attentive, and helpful. The calm atmosphere made it a relaxing place to start the day, with plenty of parking too. The Big Yellow Breakfast seemed a bit small for the price. Apart from that, everything was enjoyable and nicely presented. We had a lovely breakfast and would happily come back to The Yellow House for another peaceful morning.

I tried the Homeland granola bowl, which was just okay, and the Mexican chicken bowl, which was fair enough. The restaurant has a nice location and lots of room to sit. They have gas heaters and charging ports by the seats, and the food came in a reasonable amount of time. Good vibes, worth a visit once.

We ordered the Big Breakfast, but the portion was disappointing for the price, really just enough for one person. The taste was decent. I also asked for honey with my tea and was charged extra. No big deal, but it would’ve been nice to know about the extra cost beforehand.

I’ve lived in Nepal for two years and have always liked The Yellow House as a restaurant, especially its Night Markets. At a recent busy market, I bought a few things and misplaced them. Over the following week, the staff reviewed the CCTV footage, found my belongings, and kept them at reception until I could return. Thanks to The Yellow House for being such a considerate business.
