Hotel Mala Pokhara

After a long day of touring, we could enjoy the city view from the balcony in the evening chill of Pokhara. Lakeside and places to eat were an easy walk away. We booked for three, with one double bed and one single. The hotel staff were the best part of our stay, always attentive and doing all they could to help. The air conditioning was cold and the shower was steamy, though the rain shower often clogged and needs regular maintenance.

The setting at Mala hotal is peaceful, and guests are treated with respect. On the left side is our spa, aswsome spa. Their theripest give very good massgae and treat ther gest with respect in a peaceful environment. Please visit theri soon, thank you.

Hotel Mala Pokhara is right in the heart of Pokhara, with cafes and restaurants close enough to reach on foot. The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and their care exceeded what we expected. They helped with everything we needed, including accommodation and transportation. I really appreciated their service and hospitality.

The pool area was a highlight, with a nice view of the surroundings, glimpses of the nearby lake, and mountains. After the noise from the guests next door in our economy room, we switched to a premium room for the last of our three nights. The economy room has a connecting door that lets noise through, and I wouldn't recommend staying in it. The bed sheets were stained too, so the laundry company needs to wash the linen better. Paying the extra 800 rs for the premium room was worth it for a better night's sleep and a good front view. The room prices were hard to follow. The rate quoted by phone the day before differed from the online price and what we were told on arrival. For example, I was quoted 15000rs for three nights in a deluxe room by phone, while the online listing showed 80USD. For the premium room, we were told 4500rs per night. With clearer rates and better attention to guests, this could be a great place to stay at a reasonable price.
