Himalayan Deurali Resort

The wooden textures in the cozy rooms were lovely, and the food was great. What I’ll remember most, though, is how kind the staff were. They went out of their way to make sure everything was right, and their smiles made the stay feel personal. At Himalayan Deurali Resort I was welcomed with genuine warmth as soon as I arrived, and the breathtaking view made the whole visit memorable.

The food was average, decent but not memorable, especially for such a premium location. The rooms and facilities are good, but they need better upkeep to match the resort’s potential. Still, the staff were warm, helpful, and attentive, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well designed with great views. The peaceful, beautiful setting is ideal for relaxing and disconnecting. On clear days you can see the Himalayan range, including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri, right from the property. The views, location, and hospitality make this a fantastic choice, and better food and regular maintenance could make it outstanding.

The natural setting has potential, but the hotel itself was a disappointment. The large building looks unfinished and neglected, almost like a ghost house. Food costs as much as at a 5-star hotel, yet the taste and quality don’t come close to matching the price. Room rates also feel too high for the facilities and service. The place came across as poorly managed, more like an unmanaged picnic spot than a proper hotel. Management, maintenance, and service quality need improvement.

The location is awesome and the beds were clean, but the room floor and bathroom weren’t very clean, and the resort needs maintenance. Service was just okay, and there’s no landline in the room to call for help. They did provide a bonfire and music at night, which was good. Food was the worst part. There are no shops or other restaurants nearby, so you have to depend on the hotel. Their buffet was served as a thali, and after one or two servings they said they wouldn’t give more. I ordered chicken and got four pieces in the buffet, then was told they wouldn’t cook any more.
