Hotel Immortal Inn

We stayed for two months and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, though you shouldn't expect hotel style treatment or room service. Ask for the room to be cleaned and they'll usually do it that day, or the next. The bathrooms weren't especially clean, which often seems to be the case in Nepal, depending on your standards. Our room was fine, with a fan but no A/C, and mosquito nets on the windows. We had no trouble with bugs or insects, and no lizards, probably because there was nothing for them to eat. We did see ants now and then. Laundry shops are within 20 meters, and the Lakeside main road and shops are 50 meters away. Blues bar, with live music and open jam sessions, is 30 meters away. From the roof you can see the mountain tips. The yard is lovely, with lots of plants and a small "temple"(?) where people come to pray or chant at some point during the day. We haven't stayed anywhere else in Lakeside, so can't really compare.

The rooms, facilities, and service were awful. I'd give it -5 stars out of 5.

The room was poor, the beds weren't clean, and the toilets were dirty. The charging port was broken too.

Mr. Ram helped us with everything, including arranging porters for our treks, keeping our bags safe, sorting out taxis when we needed them, and providing information. He also organized paragliding at a competitive cost and arranged bus tickets. The hotel is a five minute walk from Pokhara, with Lakeside's main street right beside it. It looks modern, and the washrooms were very clean and comfortable, with hot water. We had a fantastic, comfortable stay. The only issue was some bugs in the bedroom, which I think the hotel staff could clean up easily. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.
