What made my stay at [HIRA GUEST HOUSE] special was the calm, welcoming atmosphere and the chance to experience the local culture. I enjoyed the local food and the community feeling, and found the whole property peaceful and relaxing. [YELOS BAJRACHARYA ] was genuinely friendly, and I felt welcome right away. It’s a thoughtful, respectful place for anyone looking for a quiet and authentic stay. Highly recommended.

Yelos went way out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I left my jacket on a bus from Pokhara, then left Nepal to continue traveling, and Yelos helped get it back and mailed it to my next destination. The rooms are really interesting, and this is a cool little boutique place in the middle of Kathmandu. Couldn't recommend it more. 10 stars.

Staying at Hira Guesthouse feels a bit like being in a museum, with details that tell stories of the past and give the place a traditional feel. The host was always around and ready to help, almost as if they knew what I needed. My room was cozy, very clean, and had hot water available all day. Tucked into a quiet corner, it felt peaceful from the moment I arrived, like a little hidden gem where time slows down. A treasure for anyone after history, authenticity, and warm hospitality.

The host was the best part for me. He speaks fluent English, was ready to help with anything we needed, and took us on a walking tour of town, showing us all the corners we would have missed on our own. The guesthouse is right in central Patan but stays quiet. It's in a traditional building owned by a treasure collector, with art throughout. The rooms are smaller than at regular hotels, but that's part of the fun. Breakfast was good enough.
