The place closes early, though Patan does too. Noise was generally moderate at worst, which seems hard to avoid. The shower drains and dries quickly, but the room gets wet while you’re using it. I loved the beautiful courtyard and authentic Newari house complex, just watch your head. Staff were helpful, the food was ample, and I love their mission.

The area was noisy, but inside it felt calm. I loved the courtyard, and though the ceilings are low, the rooms are charming. The renovations are really well done and everything is extremely clean. I had a unique, enjoyable stay, and the staff were kind and accommodating.

The bed was remarkably comfortable and the room spotless. Staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, and quickly handled any issues while going out of their way to make us comfortable. A wonderful experience, we’ll definitely come back.

I spent 8 days here and felt right at home. The bed was the best I’ve found in Nepal, and everything was clean, comfortable, and lovely. My room had a low ceiling, but at 5’8” I had just enough headroom, and it added to the charm. The service was outstanding and so friendly. I’m gluten-free and vegetarian, and breakfast worked really well for me. Patan was a much nicer place to stay than Kathmandu, with cheap, easy taxi rides wherever I wanted to go. Sanepa has loads of great restaurants, about a 20-minute walk away. A lovely hotel and a great social enterprise. Hard to find this kind of quality for the price.

Patan felt like a relaxed base for visiting Kathmandu, just a short taxi ride away. Durbar Square is right around the corner, and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. The rooms are cozy, too.
