Suite Homes, Serviced Apartment Hotel

The rooftop breakfast was a real treat, with a dedicated chef and two lovely helpers serving delicious food. My wife and I spent two months at this welcoming little hotel, and the polite, helpful staff did their best to make us feel at home. There are about 25-30 flats in different sizes. Ours had a large bedroom and a combined living, dining, and kitchen space, which suited us perfectly. All the other guests during our stay were there long term, which we enjoyed. We’d absolutely recommend it for a stay in Kathmandu.

The internet was so slow that I’m giving the hotel a bad review. These days we rely on technology, and without a decent connection it feels like going back to the stone age. I already raised the issue with the staff, but it still hasn’t been fixed.

The breakfast, prepared by an excellent chef every day, is included, and the furnishings and utilities are good. The place is very clean and, to me, feels as good as a four-star hotel. It’s used for long stays by international agencies like WB and WHO. It is expensive for Kathmandu, and there’s no pool or restaurant beyond the included breakfast. Local guides rate it as average, which I found misleading. I’m an actual guest, and guest reviews are much higher.

Breakfast earns a star from me. The rest was very poor and not what I expected at this standard.
