Hotel Suramma

The food was the worst part. I ordered fried chicken and it came undercooked, with blood visible. I wouldn’t recommend eating at any guest house. You can find better food at street-side restaurants or stalls. Inside the room there was a really unpleasant smell, the sheets and blankets were dirty, and the toilet had lots of bugs and flies.

I didn’t feel safe here, and we weren’t taken seriously when we raised what happened. In the middle of the night, someone knocked on a hallway door for 15 minutes and kept yelling. The next morning, I found a mouse had chewed a hole in my expensive takeaway bag. We told the manager everything. He seemed kind and understanding, but still charged us the full room price, even though the bag had cost me more than the hotel fee. The staff were rude and the place had bad energy. It was a terrible stay, and I’ll never come back.

The food costs far too much, and the room wasn’t clean. They didn’t provide hot water, or working TV and AC service, and there was some stupid excuse for everything. The customer service was poor. Bad experience, please don’t stay here.

The temperature there was over 37°, but the room had an air cooler, which made for an amazing experience. We stayed for two days.
