Chital Lodge

Bishnu makes the safaris here special. He does this because he loves the jungle and really wants you to experience the place he calls home. He works hard to make each trip memorable and give you the best outing he can. The location is peaceful, and I felt very comfortable staying with this excellent family-run business. I loved the rooms and would recommend this place to anyone. It’s one of the most special places I’ve been lucky enough to visit.

Bishnu made us feel safe in the jungle and was very professional. He kept watching and listening for signs of tigers, and had us moving quickly through the forest hoping for a glimpse. We had a great time on safari with him. The walking safari was the highlight, though the jeep and boat tours were great too. The food was delicious, and our room was very nice, with a hot shower and a comfortable bed. I’d highly recommend staying with this amazing family.

The welcome from Bischnu and his family was so warm that we felt like part of the family right away. Bischnu was kind and helpful throughout, and the hospitality was second to none. We saw rhinos, crocodiles, and lots of birds on the walking, jeep, and boat safaris. The tours were professionally organized, and our very experienced guide shared fascinating details about the wildlife in Chitwan National Park. The rooms were new or recently renovated, and very clean. Our stay at Chital Lodge near Chitwan National Park was unforgettable. If you’re after an authentic, welcoming stay and great safari opportunities, this place is a clear five-star recommendation. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was simple, but being right by the jungle meant hearing all kinds of animal sounds at night, which I loved. The food was amazing and fresh from their garden. Bishnu knows so much about the jungle, and walking through it with him was incredible. I was the only guest then, so I got a private safari jeep and walking tour, and both were amazing. A beautiful place with lovely people. I highly recommend it!
