I stayed one night at the Hotel View Point after hiking from Chisapani to Nagarkot, and I enjoyed it a lot for the price. The buffet food was great at dinner and breakfast, and the beds were comfortable in a clean hotel. The staff were very friendly. The view was breathtaking, and since the sky stayed clear during my visit, we could see Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range. I highly recommend staying here.

The garden right in front of the hotel adds a lovely touch to the stay. I’ve rarely had a mountain view this amazing, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Highly recommended!

We spent one night at Hotel View Point in Nagarkot and got to watch both sunset and sunrise from the hotel’s top terrace. The sunset slipped behind the hills, turning the sky gold and pink, and the next morning we climbed back up early to see the sun come up over the Himalayas. It was one of those views you don’t forget. There’s no need to walk to the main viewpoint, since the sunrise, sunset and Himalayan panorama are all visible right from the hotel. The place was clean, simple and cozy, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We also loved the restaurant, with delicious food and a view that made every meal feel special. If you want a peaceful night surrounded by natural beauty, Hotel View Point is a wonderful choice and has one of the prettiest views in town.

The views from the hotel’s high location are amazing on a clear day, and breakfast was great. The room and other food, though, didn’t meet what I’d expected for the price of the couple package. Our couple room was just okay, the TV didn’t work as advertised, and the AC didn’t work at all. There wasn’t a remote either. The food wasn’t made to Nepalese standards. My wife and I complained quite strongly, and they made changes afterward. The hotel needs a lot of improvement to satisfy customers, at least 90 percent. Customer satisfaction matters regardless of the price. All in all, my experience was average.

We enjoyed the good food and the stunning sunrise and Himalayan views, and the price seemed okay. Still, our air conditioning didn’t work, and the scooter we’d parked with its handle locked had been turned around the next day. When we left, we felt as if we were suspected of stealing. 😳😳😳😳😳
