The surrounding landscape looks beautiful from the resort, but that was the one clear highlight for us. With the high price, I expected much better value. We paid the deluxe room rate for a cottage, yet the basic facilities were mostly unusable. Neither room had a working bathroom flush, and the AC, TV, telephone, and electric kettle were all out of order. There weren't extra sockets to charge our devices either. The room also had a strong unpleasant smell that made us uncomfortable and caused allergy-related issues. The staff were friendly and tried to help, though the service itself was only satisfactory. The food tasted good, but cost far too much for its quality and the overall experience. A nice view couldn't make up for the poor room conditions and lack of working amenities. I wouldn't recommend this resort, especially if you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and facilities that are properly maintained.

I enjoyed my stay ❤️ 😍. The location is amazing, with several trails and breathtaking views, and the atmosphere is friendly. The rooms are cosy, but there was no hot water in the shower, no TV service, and the heater for warm drinks didn't work.

The property has a beautiful atmosphere, and I had a relaxing evening outside the room. Inside, though, the room didn't meet the standard. It smelled mouldy, and the bed smelled even worse, so I couldn't sleep through the night. The water heater in the room wasn't working either. Food was expensive, and my friends also said the Nepali meal was too salty. The other food we tried was tasty.

The resort is in a good spot and has nice views. Our stay was good enough, but the prices felt way too high. We jokingly asked about a discount, like customers do, without expecting one or insisting. The receptionist replied that everything was at menu price and we should have looked at the menu beforehand. She also said that if she gave us a discount, the owner would take it out of her salary, and asked whether we would compensate her. She may have meant it casually, but the response didn't sit well with me. Owners should pay staff properly and train them to respond well to customers.

The rooms with a view are the real draw at Nagarkot Stupa Resort, if you manage to get one. The setting feels relaxing, and it's a decent place to enjoy the scenery. The rest of the stay is fairly average.
