There’s plenty of space, and the hostel feels welcoming and well kept. I’m fussy about cleanliness, but everything was spotless. The beds and blankets were so comfortable that even I, someone who never sleeps in, kept heading back for a little more rest. Having breakfast downstairs or upstairs in the cozy eating area was a lovely treat. I didn’t need to go out in the morning, which made for a happy start to the day. The front desk guy, Rubie, was handsome and very kind. He had a bad cold but still helped me book an Indrive and bargained with the driver for me. Hope he feels better soon!

The location was peaceful and within walking distance of everything I needed, and the staff were okay. I stayed for 5-6 days, but the room cleanliness was disappointing. I found spider webs in some corners, hair on the bed, stains on the sheets and pillows, and dirty marks on the towel. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. I got the same bread and omelette for 4-5 days in a row, and the plates and cups weren’t properly clean. This place has potential, but they need to improve hygiene and offer more food variety.

The people were really friendly, and the shared spaces felt cozy. Rooms are simple but good value for the money. Breakfast changes quite a bit, and the roof terrace is fantastic.

The bed, mattress, and room were superb, and it was really worth the stay. What’s missing is a smile. Two people looked after me, and neither gave me a pleasant expression once. If you can’t smile, or at least pretend to, maybe hospitality isn’t the job for you. This kind of business won’t get far with that attitude. A smile costs nothing.
