The only downside was that it could get a little noisy early in the morning, from the road beside the hostel and sometimes other travelers. Hari, the owner, offered a good price for the area and helped whenever I had questions. He even sorted out my bus ticket to Sauraha, which made things simple.

It’s about 800 m from the main street, but the area feels more local. Very clean, family-run accommodation.

The rooms are simple and clean, and the location is handy, just off the main road and close to the lake. The husband and wife who run the place are genuinely warm and hospitable. They were happy to help with anything we needed, and nothing felt like too much to ask. Good value for travelers watching their budget.

The proprietor made check-in and luggage storage really easy, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a blast during our stay at this lovely hotel in the heart of Pokhara. Lakeside is just a five-minute walk away, so it’s quiet enough for a good night’s sleep while still close to the high street. Extremely good value.
