Hotel Lake Shore

Hotel Lake Shore was a wonderful place to stay. The location worked perfectly, and our room was clean and comfortable, with top-notch hospitality throughout. Sanjog, the Operation Manager, deserves special thanks. His professionalism, attentiveness, and leadership made our trip unforgettable. He coordinated our logistics smoothly and made sure every detail was right. He's a real asset to the hotel, and his management skills are outstanding. I had to stay for over a week after getting sick and missing my trek, and the staff were warm and helpful the whole time. The manager speaks really good English and even drove my partner and me to the bus station early on the day we left. The front desk lady was always smiling and welcoming, from arrival through departure. The restaurant downstairs serves decent meals, too. I've stayed here twice, along with several other hotels, and this one has the best amenities for the price and excellent service. It's quiet, clean, welcoming, and in a great location. Thanks for making me feel so well looked after!

The view of the lake from the fourth floor is lovely, and the rooms are clean with super comfy beds. The double room with a balcony was spacious enough for all our trekking gear, too. My friend found Hotel Lake Shore on Agoda, and I'm so glad she did. We had a great stay in Pokhara, with Sanjog, the Operations Manager, and Paras, his assistant, making the experience especially good. They both gave excellent customer service. Sanjog answered all our questions about the area and what to do, and helped arrange our transportation. Paras helped with our luggage, made delicious coffee and hot chocolate that we miss, and greeted us with a smile every time we saw him. Great location, great staff, and hands-down the best service. I would have rated this hotel 6 stars. We came to Pokhara for the Mardi Himal trek and a short holiday, and got a welcome Nepali shawl on arrival. The manager, Sanjog, was always helpful, and all the staff could speak English. Everyone was extremely friendly. They even started work half an hour early to make breakfast for our hike and airport departures, and arranged a surprise birthday celebration with a big cake and all the staff joining in. There were lots of thoughtful touches. They didn't charge us when leech wounds on our legs accidentally left blood on the bedsheets, even though we offered to pay. Laundry cost less than outside, sightseeing services were competitively priced, and they were willing to change our room if the one we wanted was available. They could also arrange transportation at short notice. The hotel is within walking distance of the happening places.
