The restaurant was the best part of our stay. The team were polite, attentive, and willing to make food outside the regular buffet choices, which helped a lot while I was travelling with a toddler. The lawn and seating area are lovely for breakfast or relaxing with family, and if you're lucky, the Annapurna range is visible from the terrace. There's also a swimming pool, and the corridors and shared spaces were kept clean. The hotel is around 2 km from the main Pokhara market, so it’s quiet and peaceful, though getting to cafes and city life may mean a cab or a walk. Our room didn’t feel quite up to the mark, and the washroom plumbing wasn’t fully right. There’s no lift, which could be hard for older guests, families with toddlers, or anyone who struggles with stairs. Guests could also do a better job of clearing plates and packets from the shared sitting areas. For a calm, family-friendly stay with supportive staff and good food service, it’s a nice option.

We spent three days here in Oct. 2025. It’s quiet and not far from the Lakeside in Pokhara, with friendly staff and a nice dining area. Some rooms have a great view of Fishtail peak and the Annapurna range. The double bed felt a bit small for a tall European, but that was on us since we hadn't said that two beds would suit us better.

On my first visit to Nepal with my family, Hotel Utsab Himalaya felt like a good place to stay. From reception through to the restaurant, everyone was caring and made us feel at home. I'm vegetarian, and they took proper care of that.
