OYO 225 Hotel Fewa Corner

I stayed for 10 days and loved the whole experience. I could sit for hours looking at the peaceful lake from my room, and I’d say the balcony is a must. The place is close to shops and restaurants, but far enough from the crowds to feel calm. The family were warm, helpful, and professional, and I felt completely safe and welcome. Having meals brought to my room was really comfortable. It went beyond what I expected, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Since my first visit in 2012, this has felt like my home in Pokhara. It’s right in front of fewa lake, in a cozy, relaxed setting. The homemade organic food adds to the homestay feel. The owner is a wonderful chef with a lot of knowledge about organic produce and authentic local fish. Ask him to prepare Himalayan mutton or a local fish dish. Yummy. Bishal and Bibika, the son and daughter, know the surrounding area really well and can help with information, arrangements, and bookings for trips, including trekking. If you’re interested in stars and galaxies, meet Bishal. You’ll be amazed by what he knows, especially since he has a master’s in astrophysics. Highly recommended.

The hosts are so friendly and kind. It’s close to the lakeside, with good prices and delicious food. I’d definitely recommend it.

Fewa Corner is a charming, family-run place, simple but comfortable. The morning scenery is stunning, and even if your room doesn’t face the lake, you can enjoy the view from the terrace or patio. I was given a heavy blanket and slept really well. They serve freshly prepared traditional Nepalese food, and the stay was unbelievably cheap for how lovely it was. I truly recommend it.
