OYO 277 The Country Yard

After 8hrs on bad roads, we arrived to find no staff available to help with our luggage, and we had to locate the room ourselves. In the room, a leather pad on the bed came off, and the bathroom door was super clunky, making a harsh screech when opened or closed. The place is run by an older couple who probably don't put much effort into it. It was a disappointing stay, and I'd recommend trying another place. There are plenty of economical hotels around.

The beds were okay, but the rest of the room facilities weren't up to standard, so it didn't feel like a hotel. There were no towels or other toiletries, and bottled drinking water cost extra. The AC in my room wasn't working properly either. Parking is on the road or in an open plot nearby, with room for only a few cars. If you have other options, look into them before coming here.

A lovely, kind family runs this place, and the prices are fair. It's quiet but still centrally located. They have nice rooms with AC and a privat kitchen, which can work for longer stays, and the food is good too.

They charged us too much, and the bedsheets and pillows smelled bad. We had to prepay before the stay, but the washroom had no amenities. The room was full of cockroaches, and I woke up to one on the bed. Worse than a local guest house at Prithivi chowk.
