Pokhara Palace Hotel

We’ve stayed here three times on our travels in Nepal, and we’ll be back again in a week. It’s right in the middle of the Lake Side district, and the apartment is clean with a great view. The kitchen is handy for making your own meals. It’s been a great place for our family, and the family who runs it is so nice and helpful 🙏.

Raju is a great host, always helpful, and I’ve really enjoyed my time here. These are proper apartments, not just rooms, with a comfortable mattress, a dining table, small fridge, cooking utensils, and pots. The WiFi is fast and reliable. Each apartment has a backup battery that keeps it and a few light bulbs running when the electricity goes out. I also appreciated the laundry service on site. The neighborhood is quiet, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Lakeside foot track. I need quiet to work and sleep, so that suited me well. I highly recommend Raju's place. We spent two months living in Raju's apartment, and it was wonderful. I work freelance, so having a table and fast Wi-Fi mattered a lot. The speed was from 150Mbit/s, which is very cool. Raju has also put a solar panel and battery on the roof, so there’s electricity and the Wi-Fi keeps working during power cuts. The apartment had a large comfortable bed, a view from the window on two sides, two balconies, hot water, and a kitchen with utensils. The house was always clean, the bed linen changed weekly, and for a small fee we could have our clothes washed and returned dry and neatly folded. You can go up to the roof to enjoy the 360° views of nature, and even have a barbecue. If you’re in Pokhara and want comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, I can confidently recommend it.

The location made it easy to explore the city, and the amenities were top-notch. My room was impeccably clean, and the staff did more than expected to help me feel comfortable. I was welcomed with warmth and efficiency as soon as I stepped into the lobby. A fantastic stay, and I can’t wait to come back ❤️.
