Hong Qi Hotel

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I booked a jungle walk for a great price with an experienced guide. The host was so helpful, even pointing me to a cheaper bus option, driving me into the city, and helping me find the right bus on the busy streets. Thank you!

The service was rude and poor. There was renovation work going on, with lots of construction noise. The shower was dirty, and there was no hot water.

The bed sheets weren’t very clean, though they said they’d change them if I asked. I ate some great local food with the staff, and they made me feel at home. I was there during a major flood, and the owner, Krishna, gave me a room and made me feel safe. When you’re travelling in a foreign country during a situation like that, it really matters to have someone you can rely on if something goes wrong. The room itself was warm and welcoming.

I spent five days here and felt at home. The staff were really nice and gave me good advice. The place is quiet and clean, with Wi-Fi and hot water, and it’s close to the national park. I recommend it. See you soon.
