Jungle World Resort

I’d booked a room for today, from daytime through tomorrow morning. I told the staff I might go out for work and wasn’t sure when I’d be back, but that I would return. When I came back in the evening, they said I’d already been checked out and would have to book again. Another staff member said there was no record that my room was still active. That was disappointing and unfair. I expected clearer communication and better management. The whole thing was inconvenient and left me unsatisfied.

The price offered when we booked was very low, but when we arrived the person in charge denied it completely and said it was “impossible.” It felt like misleading or false pricing. I suspect they saw our luggage and limited mobility and figured we had no better options, then tried to raise the price on the spot and make us accept an unreasonable offer. I can’t be sure, but that was how it came across. It left me with no confidence in the management’s honesty or ability to provide decent service. This was a terrible, frustrating experience and felt like a scam. I strongly advise people to avoid staying here.

The room cost 3000, but the doors weren’t working properly and the AC made noise all night. This resort used to be good, with a peaceful environment and decent service. The management has changed, and now they haven’t maintained the rooms. Don’t get scammed, don’t go here.

It’s a peaceful place, with a swimming pool, a separate villa with two flats, no disturbance from other guests, and good hospitality. But why only three stars? The rooms are old and not properly maintained. The AC doesn’t work, there’s no telephone in the rooms, and there’s no water heater for drinking or bathing. Dinner is average. Veg dinner with rice, dal and one curry costs Rs 450, and chicken khana is Rs 600/-. Isn’t that too expensive?
