The staff and workers were very friendly, and I have no complaint about them. The management, though, was very poor. The hotel is far from everything, so you’re dependent on them for transport. They charged 200 Nepali rupees each time, even for short trips to the market or a restaurant. The Wi-Fi was usually not working. Food prices were too high for the quality and quantity. We stayed two days and never got hot water, the toilet was very bad, and electricity wasn’t always available. Be careful with the service charge and so-called VAT. They charged 10% service and 13% VAT, a total of 23%, without a proper bill showing PAN and VAT numbers. They also seemed to calculate that 13% on the service charge, making it more than 23%. Don’t book a jungle walk, jeep safari, or elephant ride through them. They offer a discount but still charge more than double compared with others. They quoted us 21,000, while another provider offered the same service for 9,500. The service here was the worst I’ve had at any hotel in Nepal. Be careful before visiting.
