The place feels like a real taste of local Nepali life, right down to the homestay being in a Nepali house. Tansen village is well worth a day, with its history, heritage, local culture, and lively feel. The rooms were clean, the hosts so friendly and welcoming, and the food they made was great. I loved the whole offbeat experience.
After seven months on the road, I finally found somewhere that felt comfortable and like home. I ended up staying for 10 days. The house is really clean, and she cooks wonderfully. Come enjoy this marvelous town, and stay here.
