Riverside View Park Resort

The garden was amazing and the whole place was so peaceful that we ended up staying for a week. It had everything we needed, including safari options, and it’s very close to the park and village. The food was great and the people were so friendly. We really felt at home in this relaxing spot.

Rafting on the Karnali River was a highlight, with chances to spot crocodiles, Gangetic dolphins, and all kinds of aquatic birds. Birdwatching tours also brought us sightings of exotic species in an untouched setting. Cycling and hiking around the area offered a slower way to take in Bardia. After busy days, we unwound by the riverside with a traditional Nepali meal and sunset views over the jungle. Our stay at Riverside View Park Resort was an incredible mix of adventure, rest, and warm Nepalese hospitality, right on the edge of Bardia National Park. The clean, comfortable accommodations were surrounded by nature, and the welcoming staff made everything run smoothly. The jeep safari was thrilling. I was lucky to see tigers, one-horned rhinos, elephants, and countless deer roaming freely. The elephant-back safari gave me a very different perspective and brought me closer to the wilderness. For an authentic, eco-friendly jungle experience and wildlife encounters, this felt like a hidden gem. I look forward to returning.

There were plants everywhere, which made this a nice spot for anyone who enjoys nature. The owner, anil, was super friendly, and I was surprised to find he spoke French so fluently. His family and staff were lovely too. On my first walking safari, I saw rhino, crocodile, lots of deer, monkeys, and elefant. I had a really nice time at bardia Riverside and would definitely recommend it.

A great base for a safari, a night in a treehouse, or a visit to the national park. The owners were super friendly, the food was great, and I’d warmly recommend staying here.
