The main drawback is the location, more than 3 km from the national park gate and center. They have their own vehicle for jungle safaris, so arranging one is easy. Staff were helpful and efficient, and the rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy. The food was okay. It's a decent hotel, nothing fancy.
Rooms are okay, but the service wasn't satisfactory. Breakfast was practically nothing, way too basic.
A great spot if you enjoy nature and just the basic comforts, including AC, a heater, fan, electricity, and wifi. The location is excellent and the rooms are spacious and simple. Service could be better.
I spent three months living here while doing research in Bardia National Park. Gaida Camp has a friendly owner and a wonderful family. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend staying here.
I was here for just one day in April 2018 and had breakfast and lunch. It's a great place with a hospitable atmosphere, and the owner was especially welcoming.
