I booked this villa through Trip Advisor in June 2021 for a family holiday in July 2022. The owner was listed as "Sukru K of Carrington Group". My booking was accepted and they took a deposit, but I sent Sukru and Carrington eight messages and got no reply. All I wanted was confirmation that the booking was still valid, especially with so much time between booking and the holiday and Covid disrupting travel. I then found out the villa was double booked for some of our dates. Carrington Group told us I had no booking at all, while Trip Advisor said they’d spoken to the owner, who confirmed our dates. The two companies clearly weren’t communicating, and I presume the money I paid is lost. My family and I won’t be going on holiday. As a test, I sent a new Trip Advisor enquiry to book the villa for different dates. Sukru K replied within 24 hours, though my earlier messages had been ignored. Strange. Please avoid booking this villa if you don’t want to lose your money. If I could give zero stars, I would.
