The bed was comfortable, and the unit was tidy. The stairs are fairly steep, and the doors are really narrow, which was a hard case, though you can open the other half to make them wider. There’s a heated towel rail. The coffee options could be better.

The hosts were helpful, and the apartment itself is very modern and well looked after, even though the building looks old beside newer accommodation on site. It’s really close to Akaroa Wharf, with lovely gardens, a pool, and guest laundry on site. Better directions would help, as there’s no indication of where no 4 Aubrey Street is!

A clean, cute place, modern and comfortable, with a fresh feel throughout. The bed was comfy, communication was fabulous, and the shower pressure was good. Our pastry treats on the bench got raided by ants, so we had to throw them out. Once we put all the food in the fridge and cleaned up, there were no more issues. We’ll definitely go back.

We had a lovely stay in a great spot, close to the beach and cafes. It was very clean and comfortable, and the management were really obliging. I’d stay there again.
