We really enjoyed our family stay. The beautiful building made a lovely impression, and Sabine made us feel right at home. Town was only a few minutes away on foot.

Our balcony room looked out over the harbour towards the lighthouse, and the house and garden were just dreamy. We had a truly delightful stay at Oinako in Akoroa. Sabine and Gunter were lovely hosts and made the visit feel especially memorable.

Sabin spoiled us with a wonderful breakfast each morning, and we loved staying in the historic house. We spent three days there and made good use of her travel and dining recommendations. Highly recommended.

Sabine made breakfast a highlight, with generous servings that included local produce, and she and the other hosts made us feel more like friends than guests. My partner and I stayed at Oinako, a beautiful, well-kept historic property within walking distance of the shops, with a balcony overlooking the bay. It has a period feel but all the modern comforts. Without a doubt, it was our best B&B experience. We’re looking forward to coming back.
